Time Freeze!/Congelamento do Tempo!

Folks, this post is gonna be short, but sweet!

First, congrats to my return missionary friends for arriving home. I spoke with E. Ralph on the phone, and E. Palmer this morning in sacrament meeting...it was short but quite good. It's so delightful to see return missionary friends. :) Mission friendships are different from all others (Alma 17:16).

Unfortunately, the time has come to an end. This next week shall be very different with respect to the time that will be available to me. I have but a metaphor shared by my friend, E. Kirk Palmer, about missions:

It's like a rose bush! When you're close, you see the roses...but also the thorns, and they give you pain as you pass through the bush. But when the mission is behind you, you only see the roses, and the good experiences.

I thought it was awesome! And it really is true! Sometimes, you'll hit a few thorns here ad there, a mission is a beautiful thing in the end. Take advantage of it! The time to live an honorable full-time mission doesn't come back!

Primeiro, parabéns aos meus amigos o E. Benjamin Ralph e E. Kirk Palmer por chegarem em casa. Falei com o Ralph no telefone, o E. Palmer hoje de manhã na sacramental...foi breve mas bom demais. É tão gostoso ver os amigos missionários retornados. :) As amizades da missão são diferentes que todas as outras (Alma 17:16).

Infelizmente, o tempo chegou ao fim. Esta próxima semana será bem diferente já em relação ao tempo que me será disponível! Tenho apenas um metáforo compartilhado por meu amigo, o E. Palmer, sobre a missão:

É como um arbusto de rosas! Quando tá por perto, a gente vê as rosas...mas também os espinhos, e dão dor quando passar por ele. Mas quando a missão tá por trás, só enxerga as rosas, e as boas experiências.

Achei da hora! E é verdade mesmo! Às vezes, vai bater um ou dois espinhos por aí, mas a missão é uma beleza por fim. Aproveite! O tempo não volta para viver uma missão honrosa de tempo integral!
